This NYC pool makes you feel like you’re swimming in a painting

One of the most visually striking publicly-accessible pools in New York is back this summer with a brand-new design.

Following up on last year’s rainbow-themed iteration, the “pop-up pool club” at Manhattan Park has gone in a more celestial direction this year, invoking the ocean more than the sky. The pool has been covered with an 8,000-square-foot painting by Manhattan-based artist Gregg Emery entitled, “Waves off Roosevelt Island.”
